Annie is a Collie who was adopted by the Bailey family in Durham, NC. They have 3 boys, and Annie attends their ball games and school field trips. She is a wonderful girl and is grateful for her second chance in life! Everyone that meets her loves her!

Spuds, an American Bulldog mix, came to the shelter as an owner surrender. He is a huge dog with a huge heart! After networking with an old friend, and arranging transport, Spuds now resides in Northern Virginia. He is now with a loving family who is commited to making the rest of his life happy and carefree!

Tillie, a Border Collie mix, was an owner surrender at the shelter but was adopted into her new home June 2011. When brought home from the shelter Tillie was house-broken, and knows commands such as sit, shake, down, and stay. She is one smart dog that loves to run and play with her toys.

Daisy, a yellow lab mix, lives with the Bradley family in Apex, NC. They have a five year old daughter who adores Daisy. Daisy does suffer from separation anxiety, but the family is working to assure her that she is now in a safe and loving environment. Her progress since leaving the shelter has been a very positive journey!

Callie, a young playful, 6 month old puppy, was rescued from the shelter on her last day. Callie was adopted by a Galax resident, who had intended to foster her, but decided to keep her because of her sweet, playful nature. Callie now has a great yard for exercise, a small pool to swim in during the hot days of summer, and most of all a safe and loving place to call home!
